(eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) - fully trained. (specialist treatment for trauma). specialist training - "working with survivors of childhood abuse". couples counselling. bereavement and loss my specialisms in my career as a psychotherapist i have worked with some nine hundred plus clients, who presented with a wide range of issues. these can include: abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, eating disorders, obsessions / phobias, post-traumatic stress, relationships, stress, poor sleep, lack of confidence, help to stop smoking and more. i can honestly say there is nothing in the human condition which will surprise me. even more importantly i have learned to recognise whether or not i am competent to help this client or should i refer him/her on for more specialist support/psychiatry. © 2007-2015 balance design by noemptytags
